If you liked the movie “The Hunger Games”, then you will enjoy the nutrition games. What is nutrition? Nutrition is preparation of foods, and also the selection of foods. Nutrition is actually very important. Not eating healthy foods can cause many different harmful effects to your body.
Not eating healthy can also cause diseases such as diabetes, heart problems, osteoporosis, and much much more. Nutrition began around the 6th century B.C. We all need the essential nutrients every single day for a longer healthier life.
Let the Nutrition Games Begin
It is not always easy to eat healthier because it is a little more costly in the grocery stores, and also because the more fattening foods such as chocolates, cakes, cookies, fried foods, hamburgers, carbonated beverages, etc. These foods are less expensive than the healthier snacks, and are easily found in grocery stores, convenient stores, etc.
With these kinds of foods that are easily found, and less expensive, it is more tempting to go purchase, and can be more difficult to sick with the healthier snacks. But with budgeting and determination, eating healthier can be done. When we are not eating healthier nutritious meals, it can have a major negative impact on your health.
There are many wonderful benefits of reading healthy. For example; children eating healthy plays a huge role in their life, and when they eat the proper nutrition, it helps their growth, to be strong, smarter, and of course healthy. Other benefits of eating healthy also means a living a longer healthy life, not always feeling tired, better moods, stronger bones, and plenty more.
As you may know, there are 4 major food groups, which are; fruits, whole grains, vegetables, and low fat, or fat free milk, and milk products. Poultry, fish, lean meats, seeds, nuts and legumes are also part of the major food groups. Before we eat anything , we should always read the Nutrition facts.
Eating a nutritious breakfast can also start your day with more energy, and is also the most important meal of the day. Eating a nutritious lunch and dinner agree also important. Never skip a meal to try and lose weight, or think that it will help you be healthier. Eating healthier and nutritious proportioned meals is key to being healthier.
There is also 7 classes of nutrients which are: water, carbohydrates, minerals, fats, vitamins, dietary fibers, and protein. So let’s all play “the nutrition games” as your challenge is to exercise daily, drink more water, eat healthier “in between”snacks, and healthier meals every day, and check all your nutrition facts.
